About

An ideal life is simple. It’s a life in which you get to do all the things you want to do, and be all the things you want to be. I try to make sure that the things I use and value are the best I can afford, but I ultimately believe that the true value of one’s life comes from who you are and what you do, not from what you own.

The Singapore Lifehacker is a blog dedicated to everyone in Singapore who’s trying to create that ideal life for themselves, no matter what their circumstances might be. Its basic premise is that there have to be better ways of doing things — ways of making our lives more effective, more productive, more authentic, more energetic, more joyous. This blog is all about searching for those better ways, and about sharing that knowledge with others.

My name is Leonard Ng, and I’m a schoolteacher. In my spare time I’m also a poet, a translator, a wanderer, a sculptor-in-training, a fitness enthusiast, a tea drinker, a coffee addict, an art lover, a wannabe polyglot, a Latin dancer, and an occasional rock climber.

I keep another blog at http://www.rainybluedawn.com/blog.

That’s me.
